📋Data Collection
Money Tracker does not collect any data. Specifically:
- No account or sign-up. The app works entirely without registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifier.
- No bank or financial account access. The app never connects to banks, cards, or any financial institution. All transactions, budgets, and assets are entered manually by you.
- No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
- No internet transmission of your data. Your financial records are stored only in the app's private storage on your device and are never uploaded to any server. We operate no servers and have no access to your data.
💾Data Storage
Everything you enter — transactions, categories, budgets, assets, and settings — is saved locally on your device in the app's private storage. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted along with it (unless you have exported a backup yourself).
📱Device Permissions & Features
The app uses the following device features, always at your request and only for the stated purpose:
- Notifications — to show optional local reminders (for example, budget alerts or entry reminders). These are generated on your device; no notification data is sent anywhere.
- Photos / images — if you choose to attach an image (such as a receipt) to a record, the app accesses only the image you pick. Images stay on your device with the rest of your data.
- Sharing and file export/import — when you choose to export or back up your data, the app hands the file to the destination you select (for example, your own cloud drive or email). What happens after that is governed by the service you share it to, and is entirely under your control. The app never exports anything on its own.
🧒Children's Privacy
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children. It is a general-audience utility and contains no advertising or third-party content.
🔌Third-Party Services
The app does not integrate any third-party services that collect data. There are no ads, no analytics, and no external APIs handling your information.
🔄Changes to This Policy
If the app's data practices ever change (for example, if an optional cloud backup feature is added in the future), this policy will be updated before that change takes effect, and the updated policy will be available at this same address.
